We are seeking a full time and part time veterinary receptionist to join our team! As a receptionist you are responsible for maintaining proper communication between clients and veterinary staff. Receptionist duties include: -Managing three phone lines -Recording accurate phone/email communications and charting correctly -Monitoring a busy lobby and ensure clients have been helped -Checking clients in and out from appointments, handle payments, etc. -Help restrain animals in exam rooms when necessary. -Ability to multitask and prioritize different responsibilities
Applicants must be comfortable in a fast-paced work environment and exhibit compassion, multitasking abilities, and flexibility. Shifts may change based on the needs of the patients and the hospital, however we are seeking a full time receptionist to work four 10-hour days and a part time receptionist to work five 5.5-hour days. Salary is negotiable based on experience.
Required Qualifications: -High school diploma or equivalent -Computer proficiency -Customer service and/or receptionist experience preferred but not required
Preference will be given to applicants looking for long-term employment in the veterinary field.
