COVID-19 UPDATE (As of April 2022)
After almost 2 years of Curbside Care, we are thrilled to announce our Phase 1 Reopening! Beginning in April, we will be offering the option for In-Person Appointments with Dr. Burton. We will also have the option for Curbside Appointments for those clients who prefer to stay in their vehicle. Our lobby will remain closed in this phase in order to minimize exposure with both humans and pets.
All other visits for Run in Backs, Technician Appointments, medication pick ups, pet drop off and pick up will still be done from your vehicle.
When you arrive for an In-Person Appointment:
What kind of appointment does my pet need?
CURBSIDE APPOINTMENT: If you prefer to wait in your car during your pet's exam with Dr. Burton, we are still offering Curbside visits for a lesser cost. These appointments are typically available either same day or the following day so your pet can be seen sooner. For clients with health concerns, young children, or anxious/high energy dogs these appointments have been highly requested.
TECHNICIAN APPOINTMENT: If you have a healthy pet who needs routine vaccinations, ear infection treated, oral health checked, torn toenail treated, etc. we offer technician appointments for a discounted rate. These appointments are not only less expensive but are also usually available same day to have your pet seen sooner. These appointments are currently being done Curbside so once the tech has evaluated your pets ears, eyes, teeth, skin, etc. they will call to discuss the findings and recommendations. These appointments are not with Dr. Burton so any problem or illness that requires a DVM (i.e. limping, vomiting, lumps checked, etc) will be rescheduled for a different time with him.
RUN IN BACK: Run in Backs are technician visits for quick, routine procedures such as nail trims, anal gland expression, allergy injections, blood draws, etc. These do not include a technician consultation so any problem that needs to be addressed such as limping, lump checks, vomiting, etc. will be rescheduled a different time with Dr. Burton.
